Lower Key Stage 2
Year 3 - Geldof Class
Dear Geldof Class,
How are you all? I hope you are all in good health and having a good time being at home with your family.
These are very unprecedented (you can look up that word in a dictionary) times we are living in now and I think the best thing we can all do is try to make the best of the situation. You can make a timetable so that you do some learning in the morning, such as the English and Maths project we have set in your home learning and in the afternoon, you can do something more creative such as planning an experiment, doing exercise (Hana and Kiyan love doing Joe Wicks on YouTube and I even join in with them!) or an art project.
Also, make sure you take some time to continue with your reading every day. This is important because we do not want you to forget the skills that you have. This is also the same for your handwriting, maybe you can start keeping a diary? The next two weeks are the Easter Holidays so maybe you can also do some Easter related activities?
I know you are all very sensible and smart children and you are doing the best to keep yourself active and engaged. You can try helping your parents and carers by doing the washing up, cleaning up after yourselves, looking after/playing with your sibling, playing a game and doing your work independently. This will give your parents/carers time to think of great activities to do with you.
I really miss all of you guys and was very sad that I didn’t get to say goodbye to everyone on the last day. But I know that you are all safe and happy and that is the main thing. Keep yourself and your family safe in whatever way you can, and this will be over soon.
Take care Geldof Class
Hope you see you guys soon.
Year 3/4 - Nigussie Class
Hi Nigussie Class!
I hope you are all well and finding interesting and creative projects at home. It’s a strange time for everyone right now but know everyone at Hermitage cares about and is thinking of you. I hope you keep up your fantastic reading and journaling. I miss hearing your fun ideas and stories. I’ve been entertaining myself with my own writing project and even started playing the piano! What new things have you tried?
Have a safe, restful Easter break. Enjoy the sun!
Take care, Micah
Year 4 - Jebb Class
Dear Jebb Class
I hope you are all well and haven't run out of books to read! I do miss you all and look forward to catching up on all your news when schools open again. Until then, stay fit and healthy.
